Q: What makes you unique?
A:
I'm an illustrator who embraces technology while creating artisan quality illustrations. I use the latest PC technology to get my clients' projects ready for digital printing or an upload to a POD (publishing on demand) website.

Q: What is your work ethic?
A:
I believe in delivering projects as described and... on time.
I create only original, custom work and respect copyright laws.  Authors' manuscripts are treated with confidentiality.

Q:  I’ve never worked with an illustrator before.  What’s it like to work with you?
A:  My clients say that my final product was just what they had envisioned; it was like I had read their mind!  No crystal balls or trickery—I just ask the right questions up front and keep you involved in the decision process.  I won’t baffle you with computer talk or technical jargon—I like to keep things simple.  My clients like that I provide written proposals and clear invoicing for their business records. I generally work Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.

Q:  How much do you charge?
A:  I always start with a free half hour telephone consultation. Your project is unique and I can tailor a quote for services to meet your needs.

Q:  How long does it take from start to the finished project?
A:  I work on a strict schedule so your project will get my fullest attention and deadlines are respected. I will give you a time frame in the proposal.  You'll know how long your project will take before we get started.

Q. What software do you use?
A:  I’m experienced in many graphics, paint, layout and writing programs.  I can deliver your project in commonly used PC file formats: jpg, gif, tif, pdf, png, bmp, eps files and more.  I have software to write HTML, CSS and FLASH for websites and I am experienced in advanced applications of MS Word and MS Excel.

Q:  What if I want to use a printer I found on the Internet?
A:  I specialize in creating files that can be uploaded to Internet printing companies.  I’ve used several Internet printing companies with phenomenal results.  These companies tend to specialize in printing one thing and do it well whether they are books, stickers, business cards, postcards or brochures. The best companies give you a price up front and provide design specs on their website. I always provide full assistance to my clients to get their files uploaded on POD and printer's websites... always free of charge.

Q:  I want to sell through a POD website. Will you help me with designing my book?
A:  I am experienced in getting projects uploaded on Internet printing websites.  Like Internet printers, the best POD companies have clear pricing and provide design specs on their website.

Q:  Can you send graphics files as email attachments?
A:  Yes.  I use Optimum Online which provides “blazingly fast Internet access” and in my opinion, very reliable service.  I send email attachments as PDF files. You will need Adobe Reader to read these documents. It's FREE at Adobe.com. Most design projects can be viewed online.

We're a preferred vendor in the Stamford, Connecticut Illustrators section of Marketingtool.com.
